On May 11, the WorldSkills Flag Relay reached Sines in Portugal. During the Closing ceremony of National Skills Competition WorldSkills Portugal at Pavilhão Multiusos the WorldSkills Competition in Lisbon (1964) was remembered, and a logo patch from this Competition was added to the WorldSkills flag.

The event in Sines was the 7^th stop of the international section of the flag relay.
