Medical service

Medical services for participants of the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Competition included:

• medical services at all Competition venues
• medical assistance at Competitors’ accommodation facilities;
• medical assistance during the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Competition.

Emergency medical services were provided for free. Further treatment and diagnostics were either covered by the medical insurance of the Competitor or fully paid after provision of services (in rubles or by credit card).

Competition venues

During the Competition, medical services at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre and Kazan Arena Stadium were delivered by mobile medical teams at medical stations equipped with necessary medical equipment, bandaging material, and medications.

WorldSkills Village

From 1 to 30 August, any accredited Competitor could use the services of the medical centre located in the WorldSkills Village. 

Insurance

During the period of stay in the territory of the Russian Federation, the package purchaser was responsible for ensuring adequate comprehensive insurance for all Competitors for whom the package had been booked (including medical insurance, property insurance, bodily injury insurance, civil responsibility insurance, and other types of insurance).
