Crossing the border

The official arrival and departure points for all client groups of the 45th WorldSkills Competition were Kazan, Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, and Vnukovo airports.

Guidelines for the Individuals Crossing the Customs Border of the Eurasian Economic Union were developed in the build-up to the Competition and were available for download below. The following aspects were most important:

• Rules and regulations for importing / exporting goods in accompanied baggage for personal use;
• If one’s baggage was lost and did not arrive in Moscow or Kazan (customs border crossing point), one needed to complete a passenger customs declaration.

Guests carrying a toolbox/professional equipment in their accompanied baggage had to inform a WorldSkills Kazan 2019 representative or volunteer in the customs control area.
