On May 14, the WorldSkills Flag Relay reached Tampere in Finland. During the Opening ceremony of Taitaja National Competition 2018 at Tampere-talo the WorldSkills Competition in Helsinki (2005) was remembered, and a logo patch from this Competition was added to the WorldSkills flag.

The event in Tampere was the 8^th stop of the international section of the flag relay.
