Organizers of the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 had a meeting with the representatives of the Organizing Committee of the WorldSkills Shanghai 2021. Emil Gubaydullin, Project Manager of the WorldSkills Kazan 2019, and Ranko Tepavcevic, Deputy Director General of ANO Directorate for Sports and Social Projects, represented Kazan at the meeting.

“We discussed options for further cooperation, exchanged our contact information, talked about the “Observer” program, which will help us share our experience with our colleagues. Both sides are committed to close cooperation”, Emil Gubaydullin said.

The meeting was held in Budapest. The EuroSkills Competition is currently taking place there. EuroSkills is the most widespread competition of professional excellence in Europe for young people under 25 held every two years in one of the 28 WorldSkills Europe member countries. Six Tatarstan representatives became members of the Russian national team that will compete for medals in 41 skills.

The WorldSkills Kazan 2019 exhibition stand is presented at the EuroSkills venue. Attendees have a chance to take a virtual tour of Kazan, see the presentation of the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 project, and take part in a workshop on cooking Tatar traditional dishes.
