Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) has become a Platinum Partner in the preparation and conducting the world championship WorldSkills Kazan 2019, upon signing a partnership agreement with the Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia) Union.
With long-standing cooperation with WorldSkills International, Heidelberg is a founding member of WorldSkills Germany and a sponsor for the Print Media Technology skill competition.
“We are happy with the fact that Heidelberg and WorldSkills are continuing their successful cooperation in Russia. We are now taking part in the preparation to the WorldSkills Competition 2019 event,” expressed Esa Saarinen, CEO at Heidelberg-CIS, the Heidelberg’s regional division.
“I’m proud to point out that printers coming from all over the world to the Competition will be using presses from Heidelberg — a leader in supplying equipment and reliable partner to the world printing industry.”
“Our hope is young professionals at the Competition will be able to evaluate what the world of printing offers to them, encouraging them to use the whole range of resources to make progress in their training,” further added Mr Saarinen.
WorldSkills Kazan 2019
WorldSkills Kazan 2019 will be held from August 22-27. Close to 1,300 competitors from 63 WorldSkills Member countries and regions will compete in 56 skills. This will be the largest international event in Russia in 2019.
