To participate in WorldSkills Kazan 2019, Media should have registered in the WSK 2019 Accreditation System. Following the successful registration in the WSK 2019 Accreditation System, Media should have received an accreditation badge in the accreditation centres below:

Attention! Accreditation badges are issued only to those Media whose Individual Entry Form in the WSK 2019 Accreditation System is in "ACTIVE" status.
Accreditation badges issued to those Member Media whose Individual Entry Form in the WSK 2019 Accreditation System is in "ACTIVE" status and the package is "PAID".
Please make sure registration in the WSK 2019 Accreditation System is successfully completed, before your visit to the Accreditation Centre.

International Media visa assistance
The Competition Organizer offers the accredited Media Representatives a simplified procedure of obtaining Russia visas. The visa issuing process is free of any consulate or visa fees provided that the visa application is made through the Embassy/Consulate of the Russian Federation. A single-entry visa valid during the period between 7 August and 7 September 2019 is issued by the Embassy/Consulate of the Russian Federation on the basis of an official letter of invitation by the Competition Organizer.
Media Representatives must apply for the official Letter of Invitation by completing Individual Entry Form in the WSK2019 Accreditation System by the deadline on 22 June 2019 at 21:59 (GMT). The process of issuing and distributing official Letters of Invitation starts after 22 June and takes 20 working days.

Work rules for Media
International Media who have an accreditation badge are entitled to provide media coverage of the Competition within the city of Kazan, as well as at the Competition venues outside the city of Kazan. For other professional activities outside the Competition venues and outside the city of Kazan, as well as for media coverage of topics not related to the Competition, International Media should apply for media accreditation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Russian Federation. Assistance in customs procedures
Equipment designed for technical or professional use was imported under the privileged regime of customs procedure. All Media who possess the above-mentioned equipment shall carry printed copies of accreditation system applications. More detailed information is available on the Border Crossing for Individuals page of the Crossing the Border section.
Any user of radio-electronic appliances (REAs) at the Competition is mandatorily required to obtain a radio frequency or radio channel permit (RFP), as well as the REA registration certificate.

On the days of arrival/departure, media representatives living in the Ibis Hotel (official media hotel) are provided with transfer service from the official arrival point to the official media hotel and back.
To use that service, media representatives are required to specify their place of stay (official media hotel) and their arrival and departure dates and time in the accreditation system before 1 August. Amendment of the arrival and departure dates is possible until 14 August.
If you are not staying in the official media hotel, please also submit your arrival and departure dates and time until 1 August to use that service to get from the the official arrival point to the city's centre.
Media representatives accredited to the Competition were able to book a room in the official media hotel – the Ibis Hotel (43 Pravo-Bulachnaya St., Building 1, Kazan). The advantage of the official media hotel is the availability of special shuttles, which run during the Competition along the following route: Ibis Hotel – Kazan Expo – Ibis Hotel. To book a room in the Ibis Hotel, the application form in the accreditation system had to be filled till 22 June 2019.
The Competition Organizer team assists accredited media representatives in booking rooms at the Ibis Hotel. The number of rooms in the official media hotel is limited. Booking requests submitted later than the indicated deadlines can be confirmed only upon the availability of rooms. To guarantee your booking, it was requested to make payment until 22 June 2019.
Please note that the Competition Organizer does not cover media representatives' accommodation costs.
Media representatives can stay at any hotel in Kazan. In this case, booking assistance and accommodation consultations are not provided.
Shuttle bus service
During the Competition days, media shuttle service with the following routes are available:
- Ibis Hotel – Kazan Expo – Ibis Hotel
- Kozya Sloboda metro station – Kazan Expo – Kozya Sloboda metro station
- Kazan Expo – Kazan Arena Stadium – Ibis Hotel (on the days of the Ceremonies)
- Kazan Expo – Kazan Arena Stadium – Kozya Sloboda metro station (on the days of the Ceremonies)

Accredited media representatives are provided with coffee breaks in the media centre at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre and Kazan Arena Stadium (on the days of the Ceremonies).
At the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, as well as at the Ceremonies venue – Kazan Arena Stadium – public dining areas are organized, where everyone can buy cold and hot meals, snacks, cold and hot drinks for cash and non-cash payment. All payments are in rubles.
The Media accreditation badge grants access to the Media Centre at Kazan Arena for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Accredited Media for WorldSkills Kazan 2019 received an email one week before with the event details on how to request their desired position at the Ceremonies.
Media are able to have access to the media tribune, platforms for photographers and videographers, and the Winners Circle (at the Closing Ceremony). Media can also visit the Media Centre Info Desk at Kazan Expo to request positions at the Ceremony. Please submit your request as soon as possible as space is limited because movements will be limited during the Ceremonies.
Two days prior to the Opening Ceremony, Media was emailed confirmation of their position at the Ceremonies. Media tribune seated positions needed to pick up a ticket and platform positions received a bib. Tickets for the seated positions could be picked up at the Media Centre at Kazan Expo, prior to 13:00 on the day of the Ceremony. After that time, please proceed to the Media Centre at Kazan Arena to get your ticket. Media with confirmed platform positions for photo and video cameras will receive their bibs to access the platforms during the Media briefing at 17:00 on the day of the Ceremony.
Ceremony schedule (22 and 27 August):
- 16:00 – Arrival at Kazan Arena;
- 17:00 – Media briefing, ticket and bib distribution;
- 18:00 – Entrance to Kazan Arena seats and platforms;
- 18:40 – Preshow;
- 19:00 – Opening Ceremony.
A comfortable media centre was organized at the Competition venue, the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre. It is located between clusters A and K and includes:
- Info desk;
- 300-seat media work area;
- 200-seat press conference room;
- Food and recreation areas;
- Interview room.
The following media facilities were organized at the Ceremonies venue – Kazan Arena Stadium:
- 100-seat media centre;
- Media tribune;
- Winners' Circle (interview area during the Closing Ceremony).
Member Media services
Member Media services are provided according to the chosen and purchased package. Upon presentation of an accreditation badge, Member Media representatives are granted access to media zones.
