On 8-12 October 2018, “WorldSkills Russia: Young Professionals” exhibition takes place in State Duma

Yaroslav Nilov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labour, Social Policy and State Affairs, Olga Timofeeva, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, Lyubov Eltsova, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Policy of the Russian Federation, Irina Potekhina, Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, Robert Urazov, Director General of the Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia) Union, Rafis Burganov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elmira Zaripova, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, Vladimir Melnik, Member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans’ Affairs, took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

The exposition of the exhibition was composed of photo collages dedicated to well-known representatives of working professions and dynasties of professional excellence of Russia, and stand concerned with the country’s preparation for the WorldSkills Kazan 2019, including the description of competition and business programmes and skills.

The main exhibit item was the WorldSkills International (WSI) flag, handed over to Russia during the WorldSkills Abu Dhabi. The flag has already been delivered to the international space station. It has passed the international stage of the Relay. A solemn procession with the flag in Russian cities is scheduled for October.

During the exhibition, all possible forms of collaborative work of the Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia) Union and State Duma of the Russian Federation, as well as the signature of cooperation agreements with relevant Committees of the State Duma were under discussion.
