Coca-Cola in Russia invites everybody eager to meet young professionals from all over the world and take part in our educational and ecological programme.
More than 1,300 young people from 63 countries and regions will compete in the 45th WorldSkills Competition in Kazan. They will compete simultaneously in 56 skills classified into six sectors: Information and Communication Technology, Construction and Building Technology, Manufacturing and Engineering Technology, Transportation and Logistics, Creative Arts and Fashion, and Social and Personal Services.
Coca-Cola in Russia is the official partner of the Competition in Kazan. Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero, Sprite, Fanta drinks, BonAqua, and “Dobry” juices and nectars will be delivered to all WorldSkills Kazan 2019 venues.
As of today, Coca-Cola manages ten factories in Russia and more than 40% of our employees are skilled professional workers. As one of the largest employers in Russia, our company gives priority to young talent development and is ready to share our expertise with other participants and guests.
Top experts will hold open lectures for visitors and volunteers under our own educational programme, Youth Empowered. The project enables young people to form the culture of making a conscious choice of profession and acquire social and business skills useful for any profession. The project is also available online at this link.
At Kazan Expo, the main territory of WorldSkills Kazan 2019, Coca-Cola will open a Try-A-Skill, where visitors will be able to learn about how to use our planet’s resources efficiently. Through an eco-quest, visitors will be able to find out how to significantly lower their waste footprint, a good start for people who do not know how but are willing to separate domestic waste.
Coca-Cola organizes all ecological activities during WorldSkills Kazan 2019, as a part of our global strategy World Without Waste. The company has the goal to switch to 100% recyclable packaging by 2025 and to provide collection and recycling for all the packaging produced for the market by 2030. To achieve this, Coca-Cola will install containers through local operators and raise awareness amongst people in Russia.
The cooperation agreement between Coca-Cola in Russia and the 45th WorldSkills Competition Organizer was signed in consultation with Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum last year.
