On 23-25 August 2019, WorldSkills Conference 2019 will be held alongside the 45th WorldSkills Competition. Young professionals taking part in the Competition, representatives of 80 WorldSkills Member countries including politicians, researchers, industrial partners, heads of educational organizations, and representatives of development institutions will gather at the Conference to discuss economic and technology trends, development of vocational training systems, and transformation of the labour market.
The first two days of WorldSkills Conference 2019: Skills for Change: Building Blocks for Impact (23-24 August) will be devoted to the global challenges and macroregional solutions for the future economy.
A national track of WorldSkills Conference 2019 will be organized for the first time. The leaders of change will be selected through a competitive selection process. Teams will be formed for the implementation of projects aimed at the development of the national educational ecosystem. Delegates will have access to the best international practices and expertise, and when they attend WorldSkills Conference 2019. As part of the national track, an additional working day will be arranged (Day 3 – 25 August). Participants of the Conference will be able to focus on creating development projects, and implementing the best international practices into the national training system.
