WorldSkills
Flag Relay

The WorldSkills Flag Relay is a unique project that took place for the first time in the history of the WorldSkills movement. The goal of the project was to bring together young professionals from all over the world, as well as to demonstrate the importance of vocational skills for economic growth and personal success.

The WorldSkills flag flew to the International Space Station onboard the Soyuz MS-07 spaceship, launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. Anton Shkaplerov, Russian cosmonaut from the GCTC, Norishige Kanai, JAXA astronaut from Japan, and Scott David Tingle, NASA astronaut from the USA, delivered the WorldSkills flag to the ISS.
