WorldSkills lesson at Sirius Educational Centre in Sochi

Experts representing the Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia) Union and Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation conducted a special WorldSkills lesson for the students of the Sirius Educational Centre in Sochi. The main goal is early recognition, development, and further professional support of Young hopefuls. In the course of the lesson, the WorldSkills movement aimed at increasing the prestige of skills and improving vocational education was presented.

The Russian Federation joined the WorldSkills International on 17 May, 2012. About 100,000 people have taken part in the competitions organized by the WorldSkills Russia since 2013. The best of them have made Russia become a team event leader during the WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017 and EuroSkills Budapest 2018.

Students of Sirius Educational Centre have been announced about the upcoming event in Kazan. The 45th edition of the WorldSkills Competition will take place in Kazan on 22-27 August, 2019. The 45th WorldSkills Competition will bring together more than 1,400 Competitors representing 66 countries who will compete in 56 skills. The Competition is the largest international event hosted by Russia in 2019. The Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation has become a national strategic partner of the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Competition.

Before the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Competition, the final of the 7th National Competition “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) will take place in Kazan on 20-24 May 2019 at the venue of the upcoming 45th WorldSkills Competition – Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre. More than 1,500 young professionals will compete in 93 official, and 48 junior skills (for WorldSkills Juniors participants), about 1,300 experts will officiate the event.
