Tatyana Terentyeva: “The secret of a successful HR policy lies in creating conditions for employees to realize their potential”

Tatyana Terentyeva, Chief Human Resources Officer for Rosatom, will take part in the “TVET systems for 2030” panel at the WorldSkills Conference 2019. The session will gather representatives from different regions to examine how technical and vocational education and training systems can be adapted to different types of economies.

Looking into Rosatom’s example, WorldSkills Conference 2019 National Strategic Partner, Mrs Terentyeva will share her secrets of building up a single industry system of career management and creating a pool of managers.

Rosatom currently holds the position of Employer No.1 in Russia in HeadHunter Russia’s rankings and leads the Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing category in the Universum Global rankings. Rosatom employs 30% of technical university students graduating with honours, contributing to the sustained interest of youth in working in the nuclear energy industry.

Such performance is ensured by Rosatom’s talent management ecosystem. The company runs educational programmes for students in all stages, from kindergarten to school and university, as well as life-long learning programmes for specialists tailored to update their skills to comply with the industry needs. “We believe that the secret of a successful HR policy lies in creating conditions for employees to realize their potential,” says Tatyana Terentyeva. WorldSkills Kazan 2019

WorldSkills Kazan 2019 will be held from August 22-27. Close to 1,300 competitors from 63 WorldSkills Member countries and regions will compete in 56 skills. This will be the largest international event in Russia in 2019.

Kazan was awarded the right to hold the event in 2015, after a vote of WorldSkills Members. WorldSkills Russia works in all 85 regions of the country and is one of the priority projects for the federal government in the field of personnel training and economic development.
