The company, founded in 1991, will deliver the 1C:Enterprise business application development platform for а programming competition ⎼ IT Software Solutions for Business ⎼ involving Competitors and Experts from ten different countries. It is the first time ever that a Russian application development technology is presented at a world championship of professions.

1C Company is also the main sponsor for IT Network Systems Administration and IT Software Solutions for Business and has provided hardware and software for 21 skills in either the Information and Communication Technology or Future Skills sectors at WorldSkills Kazan 2019.

During the Competition, 1C Company will present a variety of activities and promotions for school students, teachers, and instructors of Information and Communication Technology disciplines, education administrators and professionals. As demand for IT professionals continues to grow all over the world, collaboration with professional and educative communities is an important element implemented in the company’s strategy.

Quality Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is key to the development of the information technology industry. The WorldSkills Standards Specification for IT Software Solutions for Business, which lays down the knowledge, skill, and ability requirements for professionals in this field, are in line with international best practices and requirements as well as with 1C standards. That is also why the Russian IT Company has been a Partner of WorldSkills Russia since 2016. From last year, the company also recognizes Skill Passport professional assessments and granted industry qualifications 1C:Junior based on the results.

Boris Nuraliev, founder and CEO of 1C Company, noted that collaborating with WorldSkills International and WorldSkills Russia can significantly improve the practical training of young IT professionals all over Russia. “We are pleased to contribute to the world competition in Kazan, and hope that our joint efforts will help demonstrate the high level of Russian information technology in general.”
