Kazan Arena preparing to host WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Closing Ceremony

The WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Closing Ceremony will take place at the Kazan Arena Stadium on 27 August to culminate the 45th WorldSkills Competition.

During the Ceremony, winners ranking first, second, and third will be presented gold, silver, and bronze medals respectively. Besides that, top-scorers of the Competition will be bestowed with the Albert Vidal Award, Best of Nation Award, and Medallions for Excellence.

The Competition Organizer is going to treat the audience to a colourful and vivid show. The Ceremony will involve various singers and bands, including Levan Gorozia, Dimash Kudaibergen, Zventa Sventana, BRIO SONORES, as well as LOBODA and Filipp Kirkorov.

The Ceremony will finish with then handing-over the WorldSkills flag to the Delegates from China, the host of the next world competition, WorldSkills Shanghai 2021.

WorldSkills Kazan 2019

WorldSkills Kazan 2019 is taking place from August 22-27. More than 1,300 competitors from 63 WorldSkills Member countries and regions compete in 56 skills. This is the largest international event in Russia in 2019.

Kazan was awarded the right to hold the event in 2015, after a vote of WorldSkills Members. WorldSkills Russia works in all 85 regions of the country and is one of the priority projects for the federal government in the field of personnel training and economic development.
