Russia will secure favorable conditions for import or export of goods for WorldSkills Competitors. The Federal Customs Service of Russia and Directorate for Sports and Social Projects are working together to provide these conditions as they have entered into a cooperation agreement.

"Preparing to the Competition, we set a goal to deliver it on the highest level, in the best traditions of our country and the city. The signing of the agreement is a next serious step in this direction. The WorldSkills International project involves high-quality technical equipment of competition areas, and for us it is crucial to make sure that all necessary foreign goods and cargo easily pass all customs and are successfully delivered in Kazan," notes Deputy Director General of the Directorate for Sports and Social Projects, Emil Gubaidullin.

The agreement involves a rapid exchange of information between the Competition Organizer and the custom services. It will help avoid unwanted delays in cargo delivery for the Competition because of the customs operations. In addition, competitors and guests of the Competition will be taught about the rules and regulations for  transportation of goods, personal belongings and professional equipment across the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union.
