Virtual and Augmented Reality

Augmented and virtual reality developers use equipment and tools for developing applications, games, websites, and other products that are widely used in education, medicine, industry, and business.

Competitors are developing two applications: virtual reality and augmented reality.

To do this, Competitors need to develop an application from a design to the entirely functional product used with a virtual reality helmet and a mobile platform.

Fun facts

In 1968, the first VR-AR helmet was created, which was connected to a computer. It was a heavy device attached to the ceiling and was called “The Sword of Damocles”.

The stereoscope, a device showing 2D objects as 3D ones, was invented in 1838. It allowed people to feel the illusion of depth between two flat pictures.
