Worldskills Kazan 2019 Volunteer Programme presented at the second All-Russian Forum of Student Unions

The Worldskills Kazan 2019 Volunteer Programme has been presented at the 2nd All-Russian Forum of Student Unions of educational organizations which took place on 13-15 December in Kazan and brought together more than 250 participants from different Russian regions. The presentation was delivered by Head of the Volunteers Department of the Directorate for Sports and Social Projects, Ayrat Mubarakshin.

As we have informed, the Organising Committee plans to engage 2500 volunteers from the Russian Federation and abroad across over 20 functional areas to ensure the successful delivery of the Competition. The application process to become a WorldSkills Kazan 2019 volunteer opened on 20 October, providing everyone with an opportunity to fill in the application form on the official website www.worldskillskazan2019.com. The priority of the Organising Committee is to attract as many as possible volunteers from different members of the Russian Federation. Thus, 15 Volunteers Recruiting Centres across all Russian regions will be engaged in the implementation of the programme. 

The Forum features networking for development of the teaching and tutoring at the educational institutions. The Forum includes an exhibition of the best student activity practices, professional skills demonstration, and activities aimed to develop project management skills.

The organizers of the event are the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, All-Russian public organization "Russian Union of Youth", Regional Youth Public Organization “The Students League of the Republic of Tatarstan”, Kazan National Research Technological University with support from the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan Mayor’s Office.
