Moreover, Toyota representatives will provide technical support in several skills in the sector of Transportation and Logistics.
The Competition will take place in Kazan, Russia, from 22 to 27 August and gather about 1,300 young professionals from the 63 WorldSkills member countries and regions.
The 36 Competitors at the Automobile Technology skill will need in-depth knowledge of vehicle design, components, spare parts, materials, and tools. They will work promptly and efficiently to demonstrate their skills and make the grade in the competition. Toyota, recognized for its superior quality and reliability, will provide its vehicles and components to determine the best technicians at WorldSkills Kazan 2019.
In the vehicles provided by the Japanese automotive manufacturer, Competition Organizers will artificially introduce various faults in the engines, including complex ones, that the Competitors will need to repair. Experts of TransTechService, Toyota’s authorized dealer in Kazan, will oversee the repair quality and give feedback to the participants in case of deficiencies by showing them the correct repair technique.
Genuine quality components in vehicles will be replaced with defective ones. Competitors will be required to use their expertise to identify failures, faults, or signs of misuse. The Automobile Technology skill will be judged by Experts of the Business Car Dealer Group, one of Toyota’s major partners in Russia.
