Yet four more regions – Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Rostov Oblast, and Stavropol Krai officially opened WorldSkills Kazan 2019 volunteers recruiting centres and joined the partnership programme of the Competition.

They were followed by Yekaterinburg where on 20 March an official agreement on volunteers training cooperation was signed. The signing ceremony was attended by Yury Biktuganov, Minister of Secondary and Vocational Education of Sverdlovsk Region and Deputy Minister of Industry Natalya Martinova. Since 2013, the Volunteers Ural volunteer centre is in tight partnership with the Directorate, as delegations of volunteers from Yekaterinburg took part in such events as Universiade 2013, FINA World Championships 2015, and other sporting events in Kazan. Director of the volunteer centre Alexander Antimonov admitted the significance of this cooperation on the new project.

The next event took place on 22 March in Pyatigorsk. Pyatigorsk State University and “PROFI-SOCI-LINGUA” volunteer centre became new partners of the Volunteer Programme. One of the main aces of the “PROFI-SOCI-LINGUA” team is a high level of language skills of the students, as the university used to specialize on linguistic trainings before.

On 26 March, ANO "Volunteers Association of South Ural" opened their doors as the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 Volunteer Centre in Chelyabinsk. The agreement was signed by Association Director Alexander Noskov and Head of the Volunteers Department of the Directorate for Sports and Social Projects, Ayrat Mubarakshin. Cooperation with the Chelyabinsk Oblast dates back to test events for the 27th Summer Universiade – volunteers from South Ural repeatedly participated in the numerous sporting events taking place in Kazan. In 2014, Kazan Volunteers paid a return visit by taking part in World Judo Championships in Chelyabinsk.

The March phase of this marathon wrapped up in Taganrog. Southern Federal University became the next partner of the Programme. The agreement was signed by Vice Rector for Educational Work and Implementation of Youth Programs Yakov Aslanov and Deputy Director General of the Directorate, Alexander Karpov.

We recall that to date 11 centres signed an agreement on cooperation on WorldSkills Kazan 2019 volunteers training. Four more official opening ceremonies will be held in April 2018 in Irkutsk, Udmurtia, Khabarovsk and Primorsky Krai.
