On 23-25 August 2019, WorldSkills Conference 2019 will be held on the sidelines of the 45th WorldSkills Competition. Young professionals taking part in the Competition, representatives of 80 WorldSkills Member countries including politicians, researchers, industrial partners, heads of educational organizations, and representatives of development institutions will gather at the Conference to discuss economic and technology trends, development of vocational training systems, and transformation of the labour market.
The first two days of WorldSkills Conference 2019: Skills for Change: Building Blocks for Impact will be devoted to the global challenges and macroregional solutions in the field of human resourcing of the future economy. The Conference will become a great platform for learning and sharing international practices, and professional networking.
The national track of WorldSkills Conference 2019 will be organized for the first time in the history of the movement. The leaders of change will be selected on a competition basis. Teams will be formed for the implementation of projects aimed at the development of the national educational ecosystem. The winners of the national competitive selection will have an access to the best international practices and expertise, and attend WorldSkills Conference 2019. As part of the national track, an additional working mode will be arranged (Day 3 – 25 August). Participants of the Conference will be able to focus on creating development projects, and implementing the best international practices into the national training system.
